Prominent Leaders Honor Dr. Joseph Otumara in Delta

Dr. Joseph Sisanmi Otumara was laid to rest on Saturday in Warri, Delta State, with a significant turnout of political leaders, government officials, and community members honoring his legacy. Dignitaries included Delta State Governor Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, his wife Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, former governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, and Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.

Otumara, who passed away after a distinguished career in public service, was a renowned medical doctor, politician, and administrator. He served as Chairman of the Itsekiri Politicians Forum and held the title of Obarisuwa of Warri Kingdom.

His previous roles included three terms as Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council and Commissioner for Health in Delta State. The funeral service at Yonwuren College was conducted by the Itsekiri Pastors Association, led by Bishop Mike Oyemiren, who emphasized the importance of living a purposeful life.

Chief Solomon Arenyeka, Delta State Chairman of the APC, praised Otumara's contributions to society.
