British Council-sponsored YSEC 2025 Graduates 80 Nigerian Entrepreneurs

Over 80 young Nigerians graduated from the Youth Sustainable Enterprise Challenge (YSEC) 2025, sponsored by the British Council and King Trust International. The program aims to boost youth entrepreneurship in Nigeria by providing training, mentorship, and grant support.

The latest cohort of the YSEC program included a pitch competition where top candidates presented their business ideas for grant funding. The initiative, which started three years ago, has supported young people in developing sustainable livelihoods and skills across five states in Nigeria.

The event in Abuja was attended by government officials, British Council representatives, and program coordinators. The program is designed to empower young Nigerians aged 18 to 35 to develop their business ideas and contribute to economic growth.
