Eric Okoko Receives Highest Chieftaincy Title in Ughelli

On a significant day in Ofoni, Bayelsa State, Eric Ogbafedj Okoko was honored with the highest chieftaincy title of Ughelli Kingdom. The ceremony was attended by over 80 traditional chiefs from the Urhobo Kingdom, alongside his wife, Mr.

Jennif Oghenefejiro Okoko. During the elaborate traditional ceremony, Okoko emphasized his commitment to utilizing the chieftaincy title as a catalyst for further development within the Urhobo Kingdom.

He recognized the importance of traditional culture and society in Nigeria and Africa, advocating for the reconnection of the Nigerian African diaspora with their roots. Okoko, a financial account expert, highlighted the need to embrace rich cultural heritage and values, which he believes are essential for community growth.

Chief Bozimo Agbogi, Okoko's uncle, commended his dedication and urged young men to emulate his hard work. The event underscored Okoko's intent to play an active role in the progress of his community and the broader Urhobo Kingdom.
