Oyo Student Leaders Back Odidiomo for Youth Empowerment

On September 28, 2026, student leaders from Oyo State publicly supported Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide, known as Odidiomo, during a strategic engagement in Ibadan. The delegation, led by John Alao, the National Financial Secretary of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), praised Olajide's efforts in enhancing digital education and youth development.

They highlighted the establishment of Digital Learning Centres in four public secondary schools: African Church Grammar School, Apata; Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School, Odo-Ona, Apata; Army Barracks Grammar School, Eleyele; and Ibadan Boys High School. Additionally, they commended a digital literacy training program in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), which trained 210 youths.

Olajide's N50 million commitment to the Odidiomo Students’ Legislative Summit was also noted, providing students with exposure to legislative processes. The student leaders emphasized the importance of ongoing dialogue between public representatives and students to address educational and youth development concerns.
