Fulani Chiefs Praise Tinubu, Makinde for Rescue Efforts

The South West Fulani Council, led by Alhaji Dr. Moham Abubakar Bambado II, expressed gratitude towards President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde for their roles in the successful rescue of abducted schoolchildren and a teacher in Oyo State. In a statement issued by the council's media office, they commended the professionalism and resilience of the security agencies that culminated in the safe rescue of the victims without any loss of life, despite the time spent in captivity.

The council noted that the success of the operation reflects the dedication and effective coordination within Nigeria's security architecture. They urged Nigerians, particularly those in the South West, to promote peace, unity, and mutual understanding while rejecting any form of ethnic profiling and criminal activities that could undermine security and peace in the region.

The council expressed optimism that insecurity would soon become a thing of the past.
