APC Accused of Staging Fake Protest Against ADC Chairman

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of orchestrating a fake protest against its Chairman, David Mark, scheduled for Thursday, April 2, in Abuja. The ADC's statement, signed by Bolaji Abdullahi, described the APC's actions as a desperate attempt to discredit its leadership and destabilize the party following recent political developments.

The ADC claims this protest is part of a broader strategy to influence the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) against them, particularly after H.E. Rabiu Kwankwaso's recent engagement with INEC.

The ADC further alleged that the protest is coordinated by top government officials and is not genuinely organized, aiming to create a false impression of an internal crisis. They warned that this move reflects a growing desperation within the ruling party and called for President Bola Tinubu to intervene to prevent further undermining of the ADC's leadership.
