Eniola Bolaji Attends Training Camp in Peru After Victory

Eniola Bolaji, a bronze medallist from the Paralympic Games, is currently participating in a high-level para badminton training camp in Peru following her gold medal victory at the Peru Para Badminton International 2026. Bolaji secured her championship title by defeating Brazil’s Kauana Beckenkamp with a score of 2-0 (21-12, 21-12) on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Francis Orbih, the President of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN), confirmed that Bolaji will remain in Peru until August 15 to attend the training camp. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Badminton Confederation Africa (BCA), Badminton PanAm, and BFN, aimed at enhancing the skills of top para badminton players.

Orbih described the camp as a crucial component of Bolaji’s preparation for upcoming competitions, including the Thailand and Indonesia championships scheduled for later in the year.
