PASAN Disassociates from Planned Protest at National Assembly

The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) at the National Assembly distanced itself from a planned protest by some aggrieved members over unresolved welfare and constitutional issues. PASAN's National Assembly chapter clarified that the proposed peaceful picketing was not sanctioned by the association's leadership.

The group accused the management of intimidation and harassment, emphasizing the need for adherence to the PASAN Constitution. PASAN's Chairman, Comrade Sunday Sabiyyi, stated that the management was addressing the staff concerns, and a committee was already working on resolving outstanding issues to ensure a conducive work environment.
