Paul Omeje Releases "Apata Boys," a Novel on Loyalty

Paul Omeje, a Nigerian novelist and storyteller, has released his crime novel "Apata Boys," which explores the themes of power and loyalty set against the backdrop of 1980s Ibadan. The narrative centers on brotherhood, which faces challenges as ambition and survival create conflicts among its members.

Omeje's background in screenwriting, having studied Mass Communication at Auchi Polytechnic and registered scripts with the Writers Guild of America West, influences his storytelling style, particularly in scene construction and character development. The novel is grounded in a distinctly Nigerian reality, reflecting the complexities of relationships and the pursuit of influence. "Apata Boys" marks Omeje's entry into long-form fiction and will be available in both paperback and e-book formats through selected book retailers.

Raised in Aguda, Surulere, Lagos, he currently resides in Mowe, Ogun State, where he continues to draw inspiration from everyday life and human behavior.
