PDP Chieftain Critiques Oluremi Tinubu's U.S. Airstrike Call

Bella Jaffar, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has publicly criticized Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, for her recent call for U.S. airstrikes in Northern Nigeria. This statement came during her visit to Washington D.C., where she praised U.S. airstrikes and expressed hope for deeper collaboration on security issues, including intelligence sharing and counter-terror operations.

Jaffar highlighted that while Tinubu advocated for U.S. intervention in the North, she did not call for similar actions in the Southeast, where indigenous people and Biafra agitators are suffering. This criticism was made during an interview on Trust TV on Friday, emphasizing the inconsistency in her stance regarding security interventions in different regions of Nigeria.
