PDP Now Exiting Era Of Squabbles – BoT Member

During an interview on Arise News, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) stated that the party is now moving away from internal conflicts. The PDP recently held a National Executive Committee meeting where the focus was on unity and a renewed commitment to the party's founding ideals.

The BoT member highlighted efforts to address constitutional loopholes that had previously led to internal crises, such as controversial amendments that required party officeholders seeking elective positions to resign. Emphasizing reconciliation as a central focus, the member urged party members to prioritize unity over differences.

The BoT member noted that internal disputes should not be destructive but rather demonstrate members' commitment to the survival of the PDP.
