PDP Suspends Ibadan Convention Pending Court Decision

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended its planned Ibadan National Convention due to a legal challenge pending a Court of Appeal ruling. The decision came after a Federal High Court judgment in Abuja.

Alhaji Abdulrahman Moham, the acting national chairman of PDP, emphasized the party's commitment to due process and compliance with the rule of law. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been formally notified of the convention's suspension.

PDP reaffirmed its dedication to democracy and legal processes amidst ongoing legal issues.
