Umahi Dismisses Obi as Political Threat to Tinubu

David Umahi, the Minister of Works and former Governor of Ebonyi State, stated in an interview that Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party, does not pose a political threat to Bola Tinubu, the current President of Nigeria. Umahi asserted that Obi cannot even face him, let alone challenge Tinubu.

He criticized Obi's tenure as Anambra governor, citing failures in infrastructure, industry establishment, and empowerment initiatives. Umahi claimed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is not concerned about Obi's political influence, emphasizing that Obi's movement has shown intolerance towards opposing views.

He also defended Tinubu's administration, arguing that the current government is addressing long-standing structural challenges inherited from previous administrations and deserves a second term. Umahi concluded that the reforms initiated by Tinubu's administration will yield positive results over time.
