Police Search Ogbomoso Home Over PFIPC Allegations

Pa Adeniyi Adetunji reported that police visited his home in Ogbomoso on two occasions, conducting searches and seizing phones in connection with allegations against his son, Princ Adeniyi Mathew Adeyemi, who serves as the Director General of the President Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC). Adetunji stated that he was surprised to hear of the accusations against his son, which pertain to alleged misallocation of funds from the federal budget.

He emphasized that he is unaware of the specific office where his son works in Abuja and expressed confusion over the allegations, asserting that his son is not involved in fraudulent activities. Adetunji recounted the police's thorough search of their home, including ransacking wardrobes, and mentioned that his son had recently returned to Abuja after spending two days in Ogbomoso.
