ADC Demands Investigation into PFIPC Scandal Involving Officials

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has released a list of officials and agencies it wants investigated regarding the scandal surrounding the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). In a statement issued on July 3, 2026, ADC President Bolaji Abdullahi criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration for failing to address key questions about the PFIPC, which the party describes as a fictitious organization allegedly operating within various federal government sectors.

The ADC claims that bribes ranging from N200 million to N600 million were issued, with names like Femi Gbajabiamila and Adeniyi Adeyemi mentioned in connection to these allegations. The party has called for an independent judicial panel to investigate the matter, emphasizing the need for accountability and transparency in government dealings.

The ADC also highlighted that the PFIPC was included in the 2026 appropriations budget, raising concerns about the legitimacy of its operations and the involvement of various government officials.
