Gbajabiamila Denies PFIPC Links Amid Scandal Claims

Adeniyi Adeyemi stated that he spoke with Femi Gbajabiamila through the late Dolapo Tanimola concerning the PFIPC scandal. During an interview, Adeyemi clarified that the conversation was not via video call.

On June 11, President Bola Tinubu disowned the PFIPC, asserting that no such organization exists under his administration. Gbajabiamila issued a statement distancing himself from the PFIPC, while Adeyemi maintained that neither he nor the federal government appointed anyone to the purported organization.

Adeyemi challenged the authenticity of a statement issued by Gbajabiamila's chief of staff on June 26, calling for an independent investigation to clarify the matter. Following these claims, Gbajabiamila threatened to file a defamation suit for N10 billion against Adeyemi over allegations linking him to bribery and the murder of Tanimola.

The controversy continues to attract public attention amid ongoing discussions about the legitimacy of the PFIPC.
