PFN Commends Tinubu's Salary Donation, Condemns Killings

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his gesture of donating his salary to the Armed Forces on the occasion of his birthday. PFN highlighted the immense sacrifices made by daily members of the Armed Forces, who pay the ultimate price for the safety and security of the nation.

In a statement signed by the National Secretary, Bishop David Bakar, the PFN condemned the recent killings in Anguwan Rukuba, Jos, Plateau State, and Kagarko Local Government Area, Kaduna State. They urged the government to take all possible measures to end the killings and ensure the security of citizens.

Additionally, the PFN called for transparency regarding the total value of the salary donation and emphasized the need for the government to introduce comprehensive safety nets to alleviate the economic hardships faced by ordinary Nigerians, exacerbated by global economic challenges and the removal of fuel subsidies.
