Peter Obi Shops at Abuja Supermarket, Engages Shoppers

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections, was spotted shopping at Medix Supermarket in Abuja on a Saturday in October. During his visit, he took time to interact with both staff and fellow shoppers, engaging warmly with them.

Esther Umoh, who shared photographs of the visit, noted that Obi's presence allowed him to connect with ordinary Nigerians and gain firsthand insight into the economic challenges families face daily. Obi served as the governor of Anambra State from 2006 to 2014 and is currently a presidential candidate for the upcoming 2027 elections.
