Paddy Pimblett Targets UFC Return in July 2026

Paddy Pimblett, a fighter from Liverpool, is targeting a return to the UFC in July 2026 during the annual International Fight Week, which will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Pimblett, who is currently recovering from his first UFC loss to Justin Gaethje, expressed hope for a comeback during a post-fight press conference where UFC President Dana White was present.

White indicated that he would welcome Pimblett back whenever he is ready. Pimblett missed an opportunity to face his long-time rival Ilia Topuria after his defeat to Gaethje, who is set to fight for the championship against Topuria.

Other potential opponents for Pimblett's return include Charles Oliveira, Benoit Saint Denis, and Dan Hooker, all of whom are ranked in the top 10 of the lightweight division. Pimblett's loss to Gaethje marked his first defeat since 2018.
