Plateau Governor Dismisses Six Aides, Suspends One Official

On Tuesday, the Plateau State Governor announced the dismissal of six aides and the suspension of one official as part of efforts to enhance the state's operational efficiency and service delivery to the people. The aides dismissed include Timothy Golu, who served as a special adviser on strategic communication, and Paul Datugum, who worked in the liaison office for Qua'an Pan in Langtang South.

Additionally, Johnbul Shekarau, the chairman of the Plateau State House of Assembly Service Commission, was suspended due to performance falling below expected standards. No specific reasons were provided for the dismissals.

The affected individuals have been instructed to return government properties in their possession to the appropriate authorities. The statement was released by Samuel Jatau, the Secretary to the State Government, emphasizing the administration's commitment to improving service delivery.
