PFN Condemns Jos City Killings, Calls for Justice

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has strongly condemned the brutal killings that occurred on Sunday at approximately 7:30 PM in the Anguwan Rukuba area of Jos City, Plateau State, resulting in the deaths of no fewer than 27 innocent individuals, with others injured. Bishop David Bakar, the national secretary of PFN, expressed profound sorrow and grave concern over this horrific act of violence, describing it as a senseless tragedy that affects families and the broader community.

He highlighted the fragility of peace in Plateau State and urged for immediate action to halt the cycle of violence. Bakar emphasized the sanctity of human life and called on security agencies to act swiftly to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice.

He also urged community leaders and residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement to prevent further escalation of tensions and violence.
