Plateau Lawmaker Aliyu Denies Resigning from APC

Hon. Adamu Aliyu, the member representing Jos North North in the Plateau State House of Assembly, publicly denied allegations of resigning from the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a press conference on Tuesday.

He described the rumors as false and the work of political mischief makers. Accompanied by Hon.

Shehu Inuwa Litti, the Jos North LGA Chairman of the APC, Aliyu asserted that he remains a registered and card-carrying member of the APC in Naraguta B Ward. He emphasized that any change in party membership must follow established procedures, which he has not initiated.

Aliyu acknowledged disputes from the recent APC primaries in his constituency, attributing them to unsuccessful aspirants. He vowed to utilize lawful channels to protect the mandate given to him by the people, stating that abandoning this struggle would betray the trust placed in him by his constituents.
