Plateau ADC Disowns Ex-Chairman Over Unauthorized Trip

The Plateau state chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has publicly distanced itself from its former State Chairman, Hon. Ferma Dawen, following his unauthorized trip to Abuja.

The party's State Working Committee (SWC), along with Local Government chairmen and Executive Working Committee members, convened an emergency meeting where they issued a communiqué stating that Dawen undertook the trip without the necessary consultation, approval, or mandate from the SWC. The communiqué, read by the State Organising Secretary, Iliya Zakari, expressed the party's displeasure over Dawen's actions and declared that any statements or commitments made during or after the trip are not representative of the ADC.

The party emphasized that such agreements are null and void. Furthermore, the ADC reaffirmed its loyalty to Barrister Solomon Dalung, the former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, recognizing him as the party's leader in Plateau State and pledging support for his vision and guidance.
