Primeboy Urges Burial of Late Singer Mohbad Amid Legal Dispute

Nigerian singer Owodunni Ibrahim, known as Primeboy, has made an emotional public appeal for the release of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, to be laid to rest. Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was initially set to be buried on September 13, 2023.

However, his remains were exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy and have remained in the morgue since. Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba, insists that the remains will not be buried until a DNA test is conducted to ascertain the true paternity of Mohbad's child, Liam, whom he left behind with his wife, Omawunmi.

Primeboy has called on Mohbad's family and the public to ensure that the late singer is finally laid to rest. Meanwhile, an Ikorodu high court has issued new directives regarding the DNA test, which has faced delays due to disputes over the suitability of the testing center.

Lawyer Oladayo Ogungb explained in court that fresh arrangements are being made to avoid further disputes and ensure a trustworthy outcome.
