Police Arrest 40 Suspects for Robbery and Kidnapping

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command arrested 40 suspects in separate operations for alleged traffic robbery, armed robbery, kidnapping, and various traffic offenses in Abuja. Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Ahmed Sanusi, disclosed this during a press briefing on Wednesday.

Two suspects were arrested for armed robbery in Nyanya and Kubwa, including Ismail Tasiu and Adamu Aliyu, who was identified as a receiver of stolen property. Additionally, two suspects linked to the kidnapping of three residents of Nyanya were arrested, with all victims rescued unharmed.
Sanusi assured that all suspects would be charged to court upon completion of investigations and emphasized ongoing efforts to combat crime in the territory.
