Content Creator Arrested for Alleged Rape and Death

The Delta State Police Command has arrested a content creator identified as Ogbonna, who is accused of raping a 20-year-old woman. The arrest followed a report made by the woman, who had traveled from Warri to Asaba, where she was allegedly invited by Ogbonna under the pretense of mentoring her in content creation.

After the incident, she recorded a video accusing Ogbonna of rape. Subsequently, she became critically ill and was reported to have consumed a toxic substance, leading to her death despite medical efforts to save her.

Bright Edaf, the police spokesperson, confirmed the arrest and stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman's death. The police urged the public to remain calm and refrain from drawing conclusions until the investigation is concluded, assuring that a thorough investigation will be conducted to ensure justice is served.
