Delta Police Arrest Content Creator for Alleged Rape

Ifeanyi Ogbonna, a 40-year-old content creator popularly known as Odogwu, was arrested by the Delta State Police Command in connection with the alleged rape of a 20-year-old woman. According to a statement released by the state’s Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, Ogbonna allegedly invited the victim to Delta State under the pretext of mentoring her in content creation.

He is accused of luring her to a hotel room in Asaba, where he reportedly assaulted and raped her. Following the incident, the victim recorded a video detailing her experience and subsequently ingested a poisonous substance, leading to her hospitalization.

The police have taken Ogbonna into custody as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.
