Kwara Police Arrest 'Fake Politician' Over N300m Scam on Businessman

Adeola Badru was arrested by the Kwara State Police Command for allegedly defrauding businessman Joseph Olugbenga of N300 million under the guise of securing a federal government appointment. Commissioner Adekimi Ojo confirmed the arrest, stating that Badru had strong political ties and promised Olugbenga an appointment at the South West Development Commission.

Badru received full payment but cut contact with the victim. The suspect confessed during interrogation.
