Oyo Police Arrest Four Suspected Armed Robbers

On June 10, 2026, at approximately 6 AM, the Oyo State Police Command, led by Olayinka Ayanlad, arrested four suspected armed robbers during a raid at their hideout in the Soka area of Oluyole Local Government Area, Oyo State. The arrests were made possible through credible intelligence reports indicating that members of a notorious criminal syndicate, known as "Terrorists," were planning to engage in criminal activities within the community.

The suspects, identified as Salawu Sarafa (alias Folori), Yusuf Tajudeen (alias Blacki), Farouq Ariyo, and Adebayo Awosemo (alias Naira), confirmed their membership in the Eiye Supreme Confraternity during preliminary interrogations. They admitted to being involved in several violent criminal activities in the Ibadan metropolitan area.
