Police Arrest Emmanuel Etim for Stealing N2m Block Machine

On Thursday, the Akwa Ibom State Police Command announced the arrest of 23-year-old Emmanuel Etim for allegedly stealing an industrial block moulding machine vibrator valued at over N2 million. The arrest occurred while Etim was reportedly attempting to dispose of the stolen equipment.

According to a statement from the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, the machine was stolen from the Ikot Ekpene International Market project site along Calabar–Itu Road. Following a report of the theft, police detectives initiated a coordinated investigation that led to Etim's apprehension.

The stolen machine has been successfully recovered, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend other accomplices who remain at large.
