Three Arrested in Former Broadcaster's Murder Case

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested three suspects linked to the murder of former broadcaster Olakitan Oyesiku. The suspects are identified as Sodeind Olajuwon Philip, Sakirudeen Abdulraheem Ayoola, and Sobu Obafunsho.

Sodeind Olajuwon Philip, a former employee of Oyesiku, confessed to his involvement in the crime and stated that he recruited Sakirudeen Abdulraheem Ayoola, aged 27, and Sobu Obafunsho, aged 36, to participate in the murder. The motive behind the attack was reportedly to "teach a lesson" following grievances that arose during their employment as security guards.

The police conducted further investigations, recovering a broken hammer, cutlass, plank, and a black pen as relevant exhibits. Ogun State Police Commissioner Bode Ojajuni emphasized that the suspects have made statements that provide substantial evidence for the ongoing investigation, and they will be entitled to due process under the law.
