Kwara Police Arrest Two for Aiding Kidnappers

The Kwara State Police Command arrested two suspects, Sauni Shehu and Auwalu Bala, for their alleged involvement in aiding the kidnapping of three individuals in the Ifelodun Local Government Area. The arrests were made following intelligence-led investigations that connected the suspects to the abduction of the victims from the Ogel Fulani camp via Igbaja.

Adetoun Ejir Adeyemi, the Police Public Relations Officer, disclosed that the suspects are currently assisting the police in their efforts to identify and apprehend all members of the criminal syndicate. This operation is part of the command's sustained efforts to dismantle kidnapping networks and combat violent crime in the state.

Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, reaffirmed the command's commitment to intelligence-led operations aimed at tackling kidnapping and violent crime, urging residents to continue supporting the police by providing credible information.
