Kwara Police Investigate Murder of Farmer Azeez Garba

The Kwara State Police Command has confirmed the murder of farmer Azeez Garba, whose lifeless body was discovered on his farmland along the Owa Onir Axis in Isanlu, Owu, Isin Local Government Area, Kwara State. Following preliminary investigations, it was revealed that Garba had left his farm but failed to return home, prompting a search by family members and local vigilantes.

His body was later found in a nearby bush with deep machete wounds. The police have stated that no arrests have been made yet but assured the bereaved family that every available lead will be pursued diligently to ensure justice.

Ojo Adekimi, the Commissioner of Police, described the murder as cruel and senseless, emphasizing the commitment to a comprehensive investigation. Abdulazeez Rofi'at, Garba's second daughter, expressed the family's demand for justice, stating they will continue to seek answers regarding her father's death.
