PCRC Elects New Executives for Zone 6 and Cross River

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) conducted elections for new executives for Zone 6 and the Cross River State PCRC Executive Council, led by National Chairman Alhaji Mogaji Olaniyan. The elections, held at the Zone 6 Headquarters in Calabar, aimed to strengthen community policing and support the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

The event was attended by DSP Jefferson Osupe, the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, who represented the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 6. High Chief Spokesman Agogo was elected Zonal Chairman, while Prof.

Otu Archibong was elected as the Cross River State PCRC Chairman. The election process was described as peaceful and credible, with a commitment to the Safe School Initiative emphasized.

Newly elected officials took oaths of allegiance and office, with Agogo expressing gratitude for the trust placed in the new leadership and pledging to build on the Committee's achievements.
