Osun APC Member Taofeeq Mustapha Shot by Gunmen

On a Saturday, Taofeeq Mustapha, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was shot by gunmen in the Oluod Aranyin area of Osogbo, Osun State. The assailants, who wore fez caps in the APC campaign colors, targeted Mustapha, who sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.

He narrowly escaped death during the attack. The police spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command, Abiodun Ojelabi, confirmed that an investigation into the incident has commenced.

Mustapha was provided with medical treatment, and his family insisted on taking him for further care. The incident has raised concerns regarding the safety of political members in the region, particularly as the APC prepares for upcoming elections.
