Oyo Police Set March 9 for Constable Recruitment Screening

The Nigeria Police Force has set March 9, 2026, as the start date for the screening of applicants for the recruitment of 50,000 police constables in Oyo State. This exercise, organized in collaboration with the Police Service Commission, will run from March 9 to April 18, 2026.

The Oyo State Police Command, through its Public Relations Officer Ayanlad Olayinka, issued a statement detailing that the screening will take place at the command headquarters in Eleyele. Candidates are required to appear strictly on the indicated dates with an invitation slip and must log into the official recruitment portal to confirm their status and print necessary documents.

They must present several documents, including a birth certificate, O-level certificate, and a medical fitness report from a recognized hospital. Femi Haruna, a representative of the commission, emphasized that the recruitment process is free of charge and warned applicants against fraudsters.

Any individual caught demanding money from candidates will be arrested and prosecuted.
