Osun Commissioner Urges Voters Abroad to Return Home

Bunmi Jenyo, a commissioner representing the Osun State Government, made an appeal for voters residing outside Osun to return home and participate in the gubernatorial election scheduled for August 15. This appeal was made during a trip from Lagos to Osogbo on Monday.

The initiative is part of a free train service provided by Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration, aimed at assisting those who cannot afford road transport. The service is also available during the upcoming Eid el-Kabir celebrations.

Jenyo emphasized the importance of voter participation and urged residents to reciprocate the governor's efforts by supporting his re-election bid. He highlighted the achievements of the Adeleke administration and encouraged people to return home to exercise their franchise during the election.

The free train service had already transported 600 holidaymakers to Osogbo the previous Friday, demonstrating the government's commitment to facilitating voter turnout.
