Pre-Season: Teams Know Opponents In Bayelsa Football Tournament

The Bayelsa Football Tournament pre-season draw was completed in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, ahead of the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. The tournament will feature six teams in two groups, with Bayelsa United, Warri Wolves, and EGM FC among the participants.

The draw saw Bayelsa United facing off against Warri Wolves and Bendel Insurance, while EGM FC will take on Kun Khalifa FC. The matches are set to take place at the Samson Siasia Stadium on August 12, with the grand finale scheduled for August 16.

Despite two teams, El Kanemi Warriors and Rangers FC, not confirming their availability, the tournament organizers are hopeful they will participate. The competition aims to provide teams with a platform to prepare for the upcoming season and showcase their talent.

Bendel Insurance's General Manager highlighted the importance of participating in the tournament to prepare the team for the new season.
