Presidency Blames North-Central Insecurity on Land Grabs and Mistrust

The Presidency, through Dr. Abiodun Essiet, links the ongoing violence in the North-Central region to historical tensions, resource conflicts, and the exacerbation of insecurity by illegal mining and land grabs.

Efforts are underway to establish peace structures across 121 local government areas, including deploying in 17 LGAs in Plateau State. Additionally, urgent steps are being directed towards improving road infrastructure in the region by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai focuses on enhancing education and agriculture to address vulnerabilities in the region.
