Presidency Clears Gbajabiamila of Forged Appointment Claims

The Presidency has officially cleared Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, of allegations related to a forged appointment connected to a non-existent federal agency. The claims were made by Adeniyi Adeyemi, who accused Gbajabiamila of issuing a fraudulent appointment letter.

In a statement from Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Strategic Communication, the Presidency dismissed these allegations, asserting that there is no record linking Gbajabiamila to the issuance of any such letter. The investigation revealed that Adeyemi allegedly created a fake organization known as the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, which does not exist within the federal government structure.

Furthermore, it was noted that Adeyemi was involved in multiple fraudulent activities, including operating fake documents and bank accounts. The Presidency emphasized that Gbajabiamila remains uninvolved in any fraudulent schemes and urged the public to refrain from speculation as the matter is already in court.
