Ogun HoS Advocates Health Checks for Civil Servants

Mr. Olanrewaju Saka, the Ogun State Head of Service, emphasized the importance of regular health checks for public servants at the launch of the "Know Your Health Status" diagnostic program. This event, part of the 2026 Public Service Day activities, took place at the Arcade Ground, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

Saka stated that a healthy workforce is essential for effective public service, encouraging civil servants to engage in preventive healthcare and early health screenings. He highlighted the Ogun State Government's commitment to public servants' welfare under the leadership of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, which includes measures like palliative allowances and timely salary payments.

Health professionals, including Dr. Adekunle Adekanmbi, Mrs. Moyosore Ademuyiwa, and Mr. Kolawole Mustapha, advised on adopting healthy habits and demonstrated simple exercises to mitigate health risks associated with sedentary lifestyles. Mrs. Tinu Sennuga from the Ogun State Health Insurance Scheme urged unregistered workers to enroll in the scheme for health benefits.
