Ogun HOS Urges Workers to Prioritize Health and Well-being

During the 2026 Public Service Week, Mr. Olanrewaju Saka, the Ogun State Head of Service, urged state workers to prioritize their health through preventive care, health screenings, and early detection of health issues. This appeal was made at the launch of the “Know Your Health Status” diagnostic program organized by the Ogun State Government.

Saka highlighted that the health and well-being of public servants are crucial for effective public service, asserting that a healthy workforce enhances productivity and commitment. He encouraged regular health checks and preventive healthcare practices.

Saka also noted the Ogun State Government's commitment to public servants' welfare, citing measures such as the extension of palliative allowances and timely salary payments under the leadership of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun. Health professionals, including Dr. Adekunle Adekanmbi, Mrs. Moyosore Ademuyiwa, and Mr. Kolawole Mustapha, advised on healthy behaviors and the importance of the Ogun State Health Insurance Scheme, encouraging workers to register for its benefits.
