Kaduna School Showcases 70 Science Projects at Festival

On February 12, 2026, Brainstrust Intern School in Kaduna held a science festival where students showcased 70 innovative projects, translating classroom theories into practical solutions. The biennial event drew parents, invited guests, traditional rulers, and educational stakeholders.

Dr. Stephen Isaac, the proprietor of the school, emphasized the importance of practical learning in science education, stating that it should extend beyond textbooks to real-life applications.

The festival provided students with the opportunity to transform their ideas into workable products, with projects spanning various fields, including electric generation, windmill models, aircraft, motor vehicles, blenders, bicycles, and mechanical innovations. Dr.

Isaac recalled stories of alumni who sought permission to refine their projects for previous festivals, demonstrating the lasting impact of early scientific exposure. The festival also featured competitive team-based activities, with student groups named after famous scientists, including Team Blue (Galileo), Team Red (Isaac Newton), Team Orange (Michael Faraday), and Team Yellow (Albert Einstein), engaging in memory tests and experiments.
