DAGFA Launches Data-Driven Strategy for 2027 Elections

The Data Analytics Group for Asiwaju (DAGFA), a support group for President Bola Tinubu, announced its intention to utilize data-driven communication and verified statistics to promote the administration's achievements ahead of the 2027 general elections. Spokesperson Kolawole Sodipo stated that DAGFA would rely on official data from institutions such as the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Budget Office, and the Ministry of Finance.

The group aims to guide public discourse on the Tinubu administration with verifiable facts. Key achievements highlighted include structural reforms like the removal of petrol subsidy and unification of the foreign exchange market, which have improved public finances and investor confidence.

Significant infrastructure developments, educational funding exceeding N200 billion for over 1.5 million students, and security enhancements through military expansions were also noted. DAGFA plans to monitor public narratives and provide evidence-based responses to misinformation while adhering to the Electoral Act 2022.
