PRP Clears Donald Duke and Two Others for Primaries

The People's Redemption Party (PRP) has officially cleared three presidential aspirants for its upcoming primaries scheduled for May 25. The aspirants include Donald Duke, the former governor of Cross River State; Dr.

Nnaok Ufer from Abia State; and Yakubu Moham Kingslei from Edo State. The announcement was made in a statement issued on Saturday from the party's national secretariat in Abuja by Muham Ishaq, the PRP's spokesperson.

The party has expressed its commitment to democratic processes and internal democracy, stating that the three aspirants have agreed to abide by the outcomes of the democratic process during the nationwide primaries. The PRP aims to uphold democratic values and ensure a fair process for its members, with a total of 260 aspirants competing for various elective offices.

The party has sought to reposition itself in recent months to attract new entrants and expand its base across the country.
