PSC Announces 50,000 Successful Police Constable Recruits

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has unveiled the names of 50,000 successful applicants for police constable positions in the Nigeria Police Force. This recruitment exercise was conducted with a focus on inclusivity, equity, and transparency, in collaboration with major stakeholders, including the Nigeria Police Force and the Ministry of Police Affairs.

Torti Kalu, the Commissioner, stated that the official portal for checking recruitment status will open on Thursday. Successful candidates will receive notifications via email and must report to designated police training institutes at specified dates and times.

They are also required to undergo medical examinations. Candidates who fail to report within the stipulated timeline will be considered to have declined the offer.

Additionally, those who do not pass the medical examination will be declared unfit and required to leave training. The recruitment is part of the federal government's efforts to enhance police manpower and improve internal security across the country.
