PSHAN Launches Vivo Health Platform to Enhance Access

The Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PSHAN) unveiled the Vivo Health digital platform to enhance healthcare access in Nigeria. Dr.

Tinuola Akinbolagb, Managing Director of PSHAN, emphasized the critical need for improved health information, particularly during emergencies, citing the loss of lives due to inadequate access to emergency services. The Vivo Health platform is designed to bridge information gaps within Nigeria's fragmented healthcare ecosystem by connecting stakeholders, including patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, insurers, and government agencies.

It features a health ID, emergency service integration, a service finder, geo-location, AI telecare support, and a health marketplace. Dr.

Ann Adah Ogoh, PSHAN Director of Policy Programs, expressed hope that the platform would improve health information access for all Nigerians. Muyiwa Olowoporoku, PSHAN Head of Membership Partnerships, highlighted the platform's role in linking Nigerians to healthcare services.

Folak Owodunni, co-founder of Emergent Response Africa, acknowledged the importance of digital solutions in addressing healthcare realities in Nigeria.
