PTA Advocates for Enhanced Moral Education in Imo Schools

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Amakohia Community Primary School in Ikeduru Local Government Area, Imo State, has urged both governmental and non-governmental organizations to intensify programs that promote moral upbringing and civic responsibility among school children, particularly at the primary level. This appeal was made during a prize-giving event recognizing outstanding pupils from Amakohia Community School and Amakohia Primary School.

PTA representatives, including Steven Okwujiako Okosisi and Pascal Ez, commended the initiative and expressed gratitude for the positive impact of the moral and civic knowledge project. The headmistress of Amakohia Community School, Regina Ofoegbu, along with her counterpart from Amakohia Primary School, Jane Ngozi Okoro, praised the project coordinator, Chikezi Allwel Chinkata, for his dedication to instilling proper moral values in children.

The PTA emphasized the need for sustained efforts to ensure the continued positive impact of such programs on pupils.
