Qorai Launches New EV Charging Station in Lagos Hotel

Qorai has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging network by launching a new station at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, a significant move to strengthen Nigeria's EV infrastructure. The newly commissioned station is strategically located within the hotel premises and is fully operational for public use.

It features three 60kWh dual-gun DC fast chargers, capable of serving six vehicles simultaneously, delivering 20 to 80 percent charge in approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the vehicle type. This facility is expected to serve corporate fleet operations and is positioned as a strategic charging hub within the busy Victoria Island and Ikoyi business districts.

Olabanjo Alimi, founder and CEO of Qorai, emphasized the broader vision of removing barriers to EV adoption and building reliable access to charging infrastructure. Anita Ibru, Executive Director of the Federal Palace Hotel Casino, reaffirmed the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and enhancing guest experience through this partnership with Qorai.
