Katsina State Government Launches N19.55bn Road Project in Daura for Urban Renewal

The Katsina State Government, under the leadership of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, has initiated a N19.55 billion road project in Daura to revitalize the ancient city. The project includes a 14.43-kilometer dualized bypass road aimed at advancing socio-economic activities, reducing gridlock, and promoting infrastructure development.

The government has allocated funds for compensating affected residents and contractors have been mobilized to commence construction. This project is part of a larger urban renewal initiative, with several other road projects completed or underway in different parts of the state, contributing to economic growth and connectivity.
